PEDRETTI
A former professional snowboarder and pioneer of the sport since 1983, Franck Pedretti has become one of the most respected voices in action sports culture. As a French TV host and editor-in-chief, he has spent over two decades immersed in storytelling where sport meets culture.
On screen, he covered the Winter Olympic Games for France Télévisions, hosted the X Games on Canal+, and presented shows such as Les Carnets de la Glisse (Orange Sport), Drop In (NRJ12), and the WSL on MCS Extreme. Passionate about pop culture, he produced The Simpsons primetime specials on W9 and was chosen to create the official 20th Anniversary documentary of the series—now considered a cult classic among fans.
Over the years, Franck has interviewed the greatest legends of action sports, from Tony Hawk to Laird Hamilton. His close friendship with Raimana, forged in 2007, gives him rare and trusted access. With Raimana Rising, he brings a grounded, emotional perspective—one shaped by movement, community, and firsthand experience. He captures not just the sport, but the soul behind it.
PHILIPPE SAVINE
An international producer with over 25 years of experience in human-driven storytelling. He has built a career crafting documentaries rooted in ambition, cultural identity, and emotional truth — across music, sport, and cinema.
From extreme sports to feature docs, he’s followed icons, rebels, and visionaries around the world. His most recent project, DAKAR, was produced in partnership with Red Bull and Universal.
Philippe began his journey with Franck, producing his very first TV show. Since then, the two have collaborated across continents, bonded by friendship and creative vision.
With Raimana Rising, they return to the heart of what matters — directing not as outsiders, but from within a story built on trust, history, and rare access.
